Updates August 2020

Can you believe it's almost September? It's starting to be the end of this wild year.

August for MOTOrift was kinda boring as far as what it looks like. I have a solid test version of a new app I'm working on. It's a spare phone bike alarm. I wrote about it in the July update and that's where I put most of my time.

It's a project that needs tons of testing. It's a work in progress I'm not certain whether it's even gonna be something people want to use. I hope to help put old phones in use and prevent some bike thefts.

What else is new?

I'm working on a social media project. It isn't social media meant to compete with Facebook or Twitter, but a niche site which will compete with Facebook groups, sorta. I started the project awhile back and I've owned the domain name for it for years. I've been kicking the idea around for a ridiculously long time.

It isn't quite ready to be announced or launched or whatever you might call it but hopefully by September's update there will be a beta version of both apps.

Hopefully by October there will be a beta version of at least one of the apps 😂

That's how quick deadlines change

As soon as I typed it I remembered maybe December would be a better time to start introducing a social media app.

It's a social media project for a specific group of people. It's a personal project I'm sick of wishing I had made it and get to it. It's gonna be for a group of car owners. Not just any car owners though, it's for a very specific group of car owners. Like an old school forum... but modern. I'll have more details soon.
